Warp Brothers were founded in 1999 by German DJs Oliver Goedicke and Jürgen Dohr. Their style was uplifting Harder House, something between The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Hard Acid Techno and Hard Trance. Their biggest hits have been 'Phatt Bass' (based on New Order's "Confusion" (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix – reached UK Top 10), 'We Will Survive' (UK Top 20), ‘Blast The Speakers’ (UK Top 40). Shortly after „Phat Bass“ has been released, the world turned it eyes and ears on the sound and the DJ sets of the two Turntable Maniacs. From the USA to Australia, from Columbia to Japan, Ibiza to South Africa, the Warp Brothers have rocked the best festivals and clubs you can find in this world and it seems as if they will never get tired of spreading their sound out into the world. Rewind to the year 2000 and the release of their first single ‘Phatt Bass’. - THIS IS INCORRECT. THE SONG IN THE MOVIE IS NOT THE WARP BROTHER'S "PHAT BASS" It’s not only become a club anthem but an iconic piece of music that’s still doing the business 15 years later. Despite the almost overnight success of Phatt Bass, the Warp Brothers were never destined to be a one hit wonder following it up with smashes such as ‘We Will Survive’ which reached top 10 in several countries including the UK and Germany, ‘Blast The Speakers’, ‘Cokane’, ‘Going Insane’ feat. Red Monkey, ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, ‘Blade feat. Red Monkey’, and the Push EP which reached number 1 in Switzerland. Besides their own original productions, the Warp Brothers have been called upon for remix duties on countless tracks including Black Spider ‘Save Your Life’, Brooklyn Bounce ‘Born To Bounce’, Fragma ‘You Are Alive’ and DJ Balloon ‘Techno Rocker’ to list just a few. In fact, more than 60 tracks have had the inimitable Warp Brothers treatment. Following a five year interlude from the studio and turntables, the giant void left by the legendary Warp Brothers has finally been filled and the silence finally shattered. Jürgen didn't return this time(farewell friend and best wishes), but the new Warpie that has taken his place is Peter Sildegren. Ollie Goedicke and his new brother, Peter Sildegren are ready to explode on to the dance music scene after years of silence proving the wait has definitely been worth it. Since their revival they’ve already smashed Australia’s Summer Session Festival in June 2015. Their monthly ‘Here We Go Again’ podcast is packed with 60 minutes of pure energy and jump up party sounds not to be missed!
